About us
We are on a mission to bring hope, redemption, and life to the streets of our city. Our Christian nonprofit organization is dedicated to serving those at risk, especially children, women, and men who are marginalized, neglected, or in need. We uphold the values of dignity, justice, mercy, humility, selflessness, integrity, and compassion.
Our mission
Kingzmen Street Ministry responds to the outcry in our city streets for life, redemption, and hope. We focus on those at risk in our community in a manner that honors their dignity and restores hope and new life. Our mission is to provide support and resources to children, women, and men who are at risk for abuse, neglect, and rejection. We aim to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly, in accordance with our Christian faith.
Ray and Rebecca
Ramon and Rebecca Jimenez embody a living redemption story emerging from the inner cities of both Southern and Northern California. In their teenage years, they fell victim to the destructive influences of gangs, drugs, violence, and crime, leading them on a path of incarceration. After spending a cumulative 25 years in and out of state penitentiaries, their redemption through Christ has brought them to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where they established Kingzmen Street Ministry.
Following a successful community outreach event that resulted in the guardianship of a local child, the Kingzmen Kidz and Kingzmen Colors initiatives were born. Recognizing the pressing need for job skills, opportunities, and proactive mentorship for at-risk youth, they aim to provide guidance before these young individuals develop self-destructive behaviors.
Their passion stems from the deeply personal experiences of their youth–a time when there was a lack of caring individuals willing to help. They strive to be among those who genuinely care, offering a positive Christian-based support system throughout their community, impacting one soul at a time.
Our values
Our vision is to display healthy family examples, teaching a strong work ethic and excellence in servant leadership models. We aim to disciple followers of Christ, providing them with the tools to lead empowered lives. We believe in treating each individual with respect, rapport, and trust to enable their inner spirit to thrive. Our ultimate goal is to empower them to live their life in power, love, and a sound mind. We want each person to be newly equipped to lead their new life in Christ, in victory, love, compassion toward their fellow man, and to become a productive member of our community.
